Message from Rotary 5450 District Governor
WELCOME TO DISTRICT 5450
As District Governor, I would like to welcome you to Rotary District 5450. We are comprised of 67 outstanding Rotary Clubs and over 3200 community minded Rotarians located in Central Colorado from the mountains to the plains. District 5450 is recognized as one of the prominent districts in the world by virtue of its outstanding programs throughout the world and its strong support to Rotary International. District 5450 is one of over 530 districts in more than 208 countries which represents over 1.2M Rotarian worldwide.
Kalyan Banerjee, Rotary International President 2011-2012, asks Rotarians to “Reach Within to Embrace Humanity”, this year’s theme, and search first within ourselves, to understand that all of us, everywhere, have the same dreams, the same hopes, and similar dilemmas. With this awareness we begin to understand how important our work is.
Jim Halderman,
District Governor 2011-2012
